Shrinetra Pandey (PhD in Philosophy from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi) is an Indologist and Director of the International School for Jain Studies (ISJS), Pune [1]. His expertise and interest spread from Indian philosophy in general and Jainism in particular. He has published several articles on different aspects of Indian philosophy and Jainology. He has co-edited Jainism Before 650 BCE, Determinism in Sramanic Traditions, and co-authored a book Sacred Thread – Patanjali’s Yogasutra.
Pandey is known to be an expert on the Jain way of Life and the Jain way of embracing peaceful death. He is the founder editor of an online research journal ISJS-Transactions.[2]
