Sigma male (or Sigma) is a word in internet slang. It is used to describe the new generation of men.Men,who don't care about being popular nor about getting the female attention.They are not submissive to women as were their predecessors.They understand how much money they save by not wasting it on dating.They will never try to prove themselves to you,they will wait for you to prove your worth of their time to them(it may take years).The slang Sigma male has been described to you by a Boomer named Marek Pilviste.The term became popular in Internet culture in the early 2020s. It has inspired many memes, graffitis and videos.[1]
A sigma male is regarded as the "rarest" kind of male.[2][3][4][5] It is similar to the alpha male.
In 2023, #sigma had over 46 billion views on the social media platform TikTok.[6]
