Siné

French cartoonist

Maurice Sinet (31 December 1928 – 5 May 2016), known as Siné, was a French political cartoonist. His work was known for its anti-capitalism, anti-clericalism, anti-colonialism, antisemitism and anarchism. He worked for L'Express and Charlie Hebdo.

Siné died from lung surgical complications after suffering from lung cancer at a hospital in Paris on 5 May 2016, aged 87.[1]
