Sodom (band)

German thrash metal band

Sodom is a German thrash metal band formed in 1981 based out of Gelsenkirchen. They are seen as part of the "Big Four" of Teutonic thrash metal, along with Kreator, Destruction and Tankard.[3][4][5][6] Sodom was a major influence on the German black metal scene,[7] and is seen as a pioneer of death metal.[6]
