Somnolence
state of strong desire for sleep, or sleeping for unusually long periods
Somnolence (also sleepiness or drowsiness) is a strong desire for sleep. It is also sleeping for unusually long periods. It can refer to the usual state before falling asleep. It can be accompanied by lethargy, weakness and difficulty thinking.[1]
Sleepiness can be dangerous when performing tasks that require constant concentration, such as driving a vehicle.
