The sixth season of SpongeBob SquarePants premiered on March 3, 2008, with the episode "House Fancy". The season ended on July 5, 2010 with the airing of ""The Clash of Triton" and "Neptune's Party"". As in season five, the season DVDs were split into two volumes. The volume one DVD was released in region one on December 8, 2009 while the second was released on December 7, 2010. 26 episodes were produced this season.
