The game was released on November 11, 2008 in North America, November 14, 2008 in Europe, and on November 19, 2008 in Australia. It was only released for the Wii.[2]
The game is set in the universe of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the game, the player controls Jedis as they battle enemies sent by Dooku to try and rescue the kidnapped son of Jabba the Hutt.[3]
Another game called Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Jedi Alliance was released for the Nintendo DS alongside Lightsaber Duels on the same day.
Reception
changeThe game recieved mixed reviews from game critics. Critics said that they liked the graphics, voice acting, cinematics and audio. However, they also said that they didn't like the gameplay, saying it was too formulaic and repetitive.[4][5][6]
