Superboy (Kon-El)

fictional superhero in the DC Comics universe

Superboy (also known as Kon-El or Conner Kent) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett, first appearing in Adventures of Superman #500 (1993). He is a modern version of the original Superboy. Developed by Project Cadmus as a clone, he has the DNA of the world's greatest hero Superman and his nemesis Lex Luthor. Originally he appeared during the Reign of the Supermen! storyline alongside three other "fake" Supermen, including Cyborg Superman, the Eradicator and Steel. He is a founding member of Young Justice and has also been a long-time member of the Teen Titans. His longest romantic relationship is with his love interest Wonder Girl, and Miss Martian after the Young Justice series.
