Sylvain Garant

French racing driver

Sylvain Garant was a French racecar driver. He was born on June 29, 1925 in Palaiseau, and died June 6, 1993 in Clearwater, Florida in the United States. He raced in rallies and on circuits for sports cars in the Grand Tourism type, by profession tour operator (OTOM agency).

He raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1972 in the Porsche belonging to Mickael Keyser in Grand Touring class for Louis Meznarie team, then finishing 13th, notably being associated with the future winner of the event Jürgen Barth their 911S 2.5L Flat- 6 was then first in the GTS -3L. Category, and the only one to finish the race.[1][2][3]
