Tadeusz Borowski
Polish writer and journalist (1922-1951)
Tadeusz Borowski (Polish pronunciation: [taˈdɛ.uʂ bɔˈrɔfskʲi]; 12 November 1922 – 3 July 1951) was a Polish writer and journalist. He was known for writing poems about war and stories about his time as a prisoner at Auschwitz.

On July 3, 1951, at the age of 28, Borowski died by suicide[1] by inhaling gas from a gas stove. His wife had given birth to their daughter, Małgorzata, a few days before his death.[2]
