Persia was a Axis client state sinece by August 1941, Reza Shah refused to expel the German nationals or allowed Anglo-Soviet Trans-Iranian Railway, Britain and the Soviet Union invaded Iran, arrested the Shah and sent him into exile, taking control of Iran's communications and railroad.PA Dennison (talk) 03:03, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
