This has nothing to do with your autoconfirmed status. On Simple Wikipedia, only free images can be used that are found at the Wikipedia Commons. Images cannot be directly uploaded only simple, only through Commons. The image you want to add would not be allowed on commons (and, therefore, here) because it is a copyrighted image.
