How would I be able to remove the categories at the bottom of my User Page? I think I have to use 'noinclude', but I just can't figure it out. Braingle (Contact me,Contribs)
Thanks for the quick response. I could have sworn that I saw a way to remove those early today. I guess not. Thanks again! Braingle (Contact me,Contribs)
On the English Wikipedia page about Userboxes (I couldn't find a similar page on this Wiki), it states that Userboxes should not automatically include categories. Should I remove the categories that are included in Userboxes? Cheers,Braingle (Contact me,Contribs)
Not yet, since we don't have a guideline written up at this point. What I did do, however, was use __HIDDENCAT__ on a few of the categories to suppress them. I'm still trying to figure out another method that allows you to create a subage, add these userboxes there, and transclude that subpage to your userpage. Synergy16:06, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi there Briangle! When you edit a page here, it is always a good idea to include an edit summary that says exactly what it is that you are changing so that you can let other editors on this site know exactly what it is you are changing so that they don't have to go and look at each one of your edits to see what you changed. If you have problems remembering to use the edit summary, there is an option in My Settings that won't allow you to change a page unless you have included an edit summary. I think that this option might be a good thing to help you remember to use an edit summary. Thank you and I hope to see you editing more on this site! You put in one of your edit summaries "Twinkle does't work on simple?". To answer that....as far as I know it doesn't but we do have popups which you may copy the from my javascript if you'd like.-- CM16MLB20:13, 5 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that unlike over on en:WP, Wikiprojects are not allowed out of the userspace because of how small our editor base is. If you get a Wikiproject that has quite a few members (at least 10 members), then you can move it out into the Wikipediaspace, but until then, it would be good if you could keep it in the userspace :). Also, your template (VAEstub), needs to go through the stub approval process before you can start using it. I would propose it at Wikipedia talk:Simple Stub Project first before using it. Also, make sure to put stub templates at the bottom of articles, but above both categories and other templates, and interwikis. Cheers, Razorflame02:56, 17 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
The QandA. Every month, Kennedy interviews one of the Simple English Wikipedia's editors, asking them about themselves, and their opinions on Wikipedia. It is an exciting insight behind the anonymous face of an online username. This month is a bumper edition for QandA, as Kennedy was an idiot and forgot to load the interview last edition! This month will be Shapiros10andYotcmdr! Click for their interviews:
The Commanders's Choice. For every edition, Yotcmdr will be chosing articles that need creating, expanding or being attended to. Here is this edition's list:
