Untitled change

Presumably this country straddles the border between the continents of Europe and Asia, with the former representing very much less land area than the latter if another wiki map is to be believed. Do we know actually what square kilometreage of Kazakhstan is on each continent at all? 193.63.174.211 (talk) 14:54, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Province list change

The info box shows the new name (Nursultan) of the country's capital, but in the list of provinces, the city-province still has told name (Astana). Shouldn't this be changed? Kdammers (talk) 15:28, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Probably should be. Just nobody probably has. -DJSasso (talk) 15:30, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

History section needed change

We don't have a section on the country's history. For the 02th and 21st centuries, it should include the country's being part of the USSR, the changing of the capital form Alma Alta to Astana (now Nursultan), and Nazarbayev's long tenure as president. (New elections will take place in early June.) Kdammers (talk) 04:29, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Orthography of the capital change

It seems the standard way of writing the capital is Nur-Sultan [astana.gov.kz/en] (Нұр-Сұлтан in Kazakh [astana.gov.kz/kz/]; Нур-Султан in Russian [1]). Kdammers (talk) 10:48, 13 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
