Not NPOV

change

The article obviously does not conform with NPOV, tries to paint Mahmud in a rosy light while being quiet about his many failures.. Examples: " He was a brave, strong will, patient and prudent temperament" (no quote). His ordering a massacre of the Janissaries is twisted into into a "popular uprising. Historians refer to this incident as a miracle-making process." (who??) The mention of his burial place is adorned with a pious acclamation "His body was buried in the Türbe in Divanyolu,(Ruhuna Fatiha / God mercy on his soul!)." (!!!)

"In 1826 the Greek revolution could be suppressed", but nor word about final Greek independence, about large area losses, about Mahmud's rescue by european countries from his Egyptian governor whose army had entered Anatolia... Kipala (talk) 16:20, 25 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
