Is there an existing Wikidata item?

change

A search of this spelling in Wikidata, the Wikimedia data base, shows several items that include "Sheshan" but not a single item to match this new page here. Because this single name refers to "two hills" would it be preferable to make one or two Simple English pages matching what's already identified in other projects? N.B. - I have no personal knowledge of this topic. -- Deborahjay (talk) 11:59, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Edited to add: Perhaps the equivalent is the Wikidata item d:Q7495625 and the English Wikipedia page en:Sheshan Hill. While it isn't required to have identical page names between Wikipedias in different languages, sharing the Wikidata item with its geographic coordinates is valuable. -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:02, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your interest. I will clean this up. The problem is that the English Wikipedia entry is badly done ("Sheshan" really refers to a pair of adjacent hills rather than a single hill) and badly placed. It's by far the PRIMARYTOPIC for this name and all the other "Sheshans" derive from it. I figured I might as well fix all that mess before linking this, but I can go ahead and link it now if you like. — Mr Spear (talk) 00:16, 15 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
