Good (or "good enough")? change

New changes change

@CactiStaccingCrane: I think the article's language might be a little too simple Nigos (talk | changes) 06:11, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, will yeet it and build it again lol CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 06:14, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
... What is the name of this wikipedia? We should simplify it as much as possible until the point that:
  • phrases are repeatedly used to explain a singular word
  • information held in complex words are lost due to lack of detail
  • the article size massively increases due to phrases instead of singular words replacing complex words
These are self made observations, and I think the article is actually more complex than it needs to be. Try stuffing it into a reading scale and ideally aim for grade 5. No less, no more.

Agree, it is time to nuke the article and build it again I guess :) CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 06:22, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Elytrian Do you think the lede is good now? CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 06:42, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
That's true, I guess it should be simplified more then Nigos (talk | changes) 14:25, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Should SI units be in front of US imperial units, or should the US units be in front? Nigos (talk | changes) 14:25, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
SI in front. Lede is good. 💠Ely - Talk💠 06:10, 27 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Infobox (not accurate) change

  Done. Text has been removed. 2001:2020:32F:ECE9:950F:A575:93E6:A963 (talk) 21:05, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Moved to discussion change

"As of October 2021, SpaceX again skipped some Starship and Super Heavy. They are SN16, SN17, SN18, and SN19."--This is at least partially in error.--Flights and test flights will be done by notable spacecrafts, while some spacecraft will not make the cut, for whatever reason. 2001:2020:307:955C:1CCB:CB10:98D3:FC25 (talk) 19:22, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Starting the article on the right foot? change

"Starship is a rocket made out of stainless steel by SpaceX, a company that works in the atmosphere and space".--Please anyone, make the start of this article, good enough. (I will be looking at other challenges, in regard to the article.) 2001:2020:32F:A3C0:ACBF:8E7A:4CE9:D57A (talk) 15:09, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
A partial suggestion of what can be said: "... a company that builds and sends rockets between Earth and space". 2001:2020:32F:A3C0:ACBF:8E7A:4CE9:D57A (talk) 15:14, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Done. (Thanks to user:Angerxiety). 2001:2020:32F:A3C0:80E:FC2C:BB98:750A (talk) 18:25, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please remove (if no one has idea how the text should be improved) change

The Space Shuttle could only carry 27.5 metric tons (61,000 lb) to the International Space Station, however.[1]

[Needs fixing or removal from article:]

In this example, the International Space Station has an even lower orbit than Starship.

{{Efn|The International Space Station orbits 407 km (253 mi) high at 51.64° inclination. Starship in this case orbits 500 km (310 mi) high at 98.9° inclination.[2]

Comment: I will be busy looking at other challenges in this article. 2001:2020:32F:ECE9:A9F9:2DBE:10B2:FD03 (talk) 17:02, 5 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

"evaporates the heat" change

I would like a second opinion, that those 3 words are unlikely to be a good fit.--Afterwards, anyone or myself, can try to knock that into better shape. Thanks, 2001:2020:333:F9E3:950E:B686:7096:338E (talk) 20:53, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
