The position of taxation as theft and thus immoral, is found in a wide variety of different libertarian leaning political philosophies. The libertarian, anarcho-capitalist and objectivist view of taxation as theft or extortion comes from the fact that taxes are usually collected under the threat of imprisonment or some other judicial punishment if someone doesn't pay.
