Template:ISO 639 name et
Estonian
Usage
Template:ISO 639 name et is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code et, for example: {{Translated page |et |name of page at Estonian Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Estonian Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Estonian Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |et}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|et| some text in Estonian}} wraps the text with <span lang="et"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Estonian-language text. Also available is {{Lang-et |some text in Estonian}} which displays as Estonian: some text in Estonian.
- {{R from other language|et|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Estonian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|et}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Estonian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
