Template:ISO 639 name jv
Javanese
Usage
Template:ISO 639 name jv is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code jv, for example: {{Translated page |jv |name of page at Javanese Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Javanese Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Javanese Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |jv}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|jv| some text in Javanese}} wraps the text with <span lang="jv"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Javanese-language text. Also available is {{Lang-jv |some text in Javanese}} which displays as Javanese: some text in Javanese.
- {{R from other language|jv|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Javanese-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|jv}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Javanese-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
