Template:ISO 639 name ks
Kashmiri
Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ks is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ks, for example: {{Translated page |ks |name of page at Kashmiri Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Kashmiri Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Kashmiri Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ks}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ks| some text in Kashmiri}} wraps the text with <span lang="ks"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Kashmiri-language text. Also available is {{Lang-ks |some text in Kashmiri}} which displays as Kashmiri: some text in Kashmiri.
- {{R from other language|ks|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Kashmiri-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ks}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Kashmiri-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
