Usage
changeInfobox for cities and municipalities of Finland.
This template is to be used for (official) current Finnish cities and municipalities only. For villages, districts and suburbs, other templates, such as {{Infobox settlement}}, is recommended.
The documentation for {{Infobox settlement}} template can be applied with this template, too, with some notable exceptions:
- Not all parameters are available, see the empty template below.
- The template gets up-to-date the population and area data automatically from its data templates.
- Default map size is set to 150px. Overriding is possible by setting the
mapsize
(ordot_mapsize
orpushpin_mapsize
) parameter. - Some extra parameters are implemented:
- finnish_official, swedish_official, sami_official
- set to "1" if the said language is an official language in the municipality (the major language of the municipality is official by default)
- unemployment
- unemployment rate in percents

Using the data templates
changeAll values in the templates are formatted in a standardized way: there are no thousand separators and the decimal is dot (e.g. full stop or .). The standardized formatting ensures the data is reusable in all language versions as follows:

{{formatnum: {{Data Finland municipality/population count|Municipality}} }}
- Running order (nth largest):
{{Data Finland municipality/population count sequence|Municipality}}. largest
