The (Latin) alphabet
changeSimon, I know the EN: version reads "Latin alphabet", but I think here we need to make it simpler. What we don't want is a reader to click on X and think "I wanted the English letter, not that Latin one". Seems silly, but since we don't yet even have an alphabet article, the distinction isn't necessary at this point. I think clarity over technical accuracy is the better goal. I'm going to switch it back, for the time being. -- Netoholic @ 18:25, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Could we say "English alphabet"? Otherwise people may think we Anglos are being bigheaded, thinking the only real letters of the alphabet are the ones we know. Saintswithin 22:55, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
