Terrorism in the United States

In general, terrorists use violence, to create a climate of fear in all the population, or in a small group. They do this because they have political or religious motives. In the United States, the following forms are known:
- Anti-abortion violence: People who oppose abortion want to get stricter laws that outlaw or limit abortion.
- Antisemitism: Violence against Jews and Jewish institutions
- Islamic extremism
- Environmental terrorism
- Attacks on the US government, either by left-wing or right wing groups.
- White nationalism, white supremacy, and attacks on other ethnic groups
