The Texas blind salamander is a salamander that is very hard to find. It lives in caves in Texas.
It is white and it cannot use its eyes because they are hidden under the skin of its head. It is an amphibian and its gills are outside its body. When it is grown up it is 13 centimeters (5 inches) long.
It eats small animals like shrimp and snails that flow in its cave.
