The Black Rose is a 1950 American historical adventure movie directed by Henry Hathaway and starring Tyrone Power, Orson Welles, Cécile Aubry, Jack Hawkins. The screenplay by Talbot Jennings was based on the 1945 novel of the same name by Thomas B. Costain and was distributed by 20th Century Fox. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1951.
