The Invisible Man is a 1933 American pre-Code science fiction horror movie directed by James Whale. It is based on H. G. Wells' 1897 science fiction novel The Invisible Man and produced by Universal Pictures. It stars Claude Rains and Gloria Stuart.[1]
In 2008, The Invisible Man was selected for the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."[2]
