The Last American Hero (also known as Hard Driver) is a 1973 sports drama movie based on the true story NASCAR driver Junior Johnson. It was directed by Lamont Johnson and stars Jeff Bridges, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Ned Beatty, Gary Busey, Ed Lauter and was distributed by 20th Century Fox.
