The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle is the second studio album by Bruce Springsteen. It was released on 5 November, 1973 through Columbia Records. It went to number 59 in the United States, number 33 in the United Kingdom and number 34 in Sweden. It was named after the 1959 movie The Wild and the Innocent and was ranked #345 on the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2020.
