Thomas D'Alesandro III

American politician (1929–2019)

Thomas Ludwig John D'Alesandro III (July 24, 1929 – October 20, 2019) was an American attorney and politician. He was Mayor of Baltimore, Maryland from 1967 to 1971.[1]

He was the brother of Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi,[2] and son of former Baltimore Mayor Thomas D'Alesandro Jr., who served from 1947 to 1959.[1]

D'Alesandro III died at his home in Baltimore from stroke-related problems on October 20, 2019 at the age of 90.[3]
