Thon Maker
South Sudanese-Australian basketball player
Thon Marial Maker (born 25 February 1997) is a South Sudanese-born Australian professional basketball player. He plays as a centre and power forward. He currently plays for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also plays for the Australian national team.[1] He formerly played for the Milwaukee Bucks (2016–2019).
Maker was born in Wau, Sudan (now South Sudan). He grew up in Perth, Western Australia from around age five. He also attended high school in the United States and Canada.
