Tim Green

American football player (born 1963)

Timothy John Green (born December 16, 1963) is a retired professional American football player, lawyer, a radio and television personality, and a best-selling author. He was a linebacker and defensive end with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League 1986 to 1993.

He was a commentator for National Public Radio and the former host of the 2005 revival of A Current Affair on Fox. Green also wrote children's books. Green's book Football Genius made The New York Times best-seller list of children's chapter books.[1]

Green was born in Liverpool, New York. He studied at Syracuse University. In November 2018, Green was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.[2]
