Tintern
village in Wye Valley, Monmouthshire, United Kingdom
Tintern (Welsh: Tyndyrn) is a village and community on the west bank of the River Wye in Monmouthshire, Wales. It is close to the border with England and about 5 miles (8.0 km) north of Chepstow. It is home to the ruined Tintern Abbey, which is popular with tourists. The village is designated as a Conservation Area.[2]
