Tobias Read
American politician
Tobias Read (born July 1, 1975) is an American Democratic politician. He has been the 30th and current Oregon Secretary of State since 2025. He was the 29th Oregon State Treasurer from 2017 to 2025. He was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing the 27th district from 2007 to 2017.

Read was a candidate for governor of Oregon in the 2022 election, however he lost the Democratic nomination to Tina Kotek.[1]
