Toto Cutugno

Italian recording artist; musician, songwriter, record producer (1943–2023)

Salvatore "Toto" Cutugno (Italian pronunciation: [ˈtɔːto kuˈtuɲɲo]; 7 July 1943 – 22 August 2023) was an Italian pop singer-songwriter and musician. He was best known for his worldwide hit song, "L'Italiano". Cutugno also won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1990 with the song "Insieme: 1992".

Cutugno died on 22 August 2023 at a hospital in Milan, Italy from prostate cancer at the age of 80.[1]
