Toy Story 4 (also known as Toy Story 4: Runaway Plaything) is a 2019 American computer-animated comedy adventure movie. It was produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It is the fourth installment in Pixar's Toy Story series, followed by Lightyear in 2022. Toy Story 4 was the final sequel of the franchise.

Toy Story 4 was the final Pixar sequel to be released on home video by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment following the closure of Disney's home video business.

The movie has made $1 billion worldwide, becoming the sixth highest-grossing movie of 2019. The movie received strong positive reviews despite some action events. In 2020, it won an Academy Award for best animated movie.

Sequel

On February 8, 2023, Disney announced that a fifth Toy Story film is in development and the film would be released on 19 June 2026.
