The University of Iceland (Icelandic: Háskóli Íslands [ˈhauːˌskouːlɪ ˈistlan(t)s]) is a public research university in Reykjavík, Iceland. It is the country's oldest and largest institution of higher education. It was founded in 1911.[2]
