Youbaraj Bastakoti
Youbaraj Bastakoti is a social and political campaigner from Nepal, born in Gorkha district. He is known for his work with the local community and his advocacy for democratic principles and an open economic system.[1][2]
Mr. Bastakoti's father, the late Khadga Prasad Bastakoti, was a serviceman, while his mother, Durga Devi Bastakoti, is a local women campaigner in their village. Following in his parents' footsteps, Mr. Bastakoti has dedicated his life to education and political activism.[3]
Mr. Bastakoti is the former Secretary of the Department of Federal Affairs and Provincial Coordination, Nepali Congress, Central Committee and Former subject committee member of the Economic Development Committee, Central Committee, Nepali Congress.[4] He is also a member of the Gandaki Provincial Development Council, appointed by the Council of Ministers, Gandaki Province, Nepal.[5] He has attended various educational conferences in Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, furthering his knowledge and experience in the field. Currently, Mr. Bastakoti serves as a researcher at Mt. Api Consult and as an educator in both a school and a college.
