User:BZPN/AI addon proposal

This is a proposal to be added to the Wikipedia:AI generated content guideline.

Using AI in community discussions

change

Community discussions

change

AI-generated text must not be used in any community discussions. This includes pages like:

  • Wikipedia:Simple talk,
  • Requests for Permissions (RfP) (and other permissions requests like requests for Adminship (RfA))
  • Articles talk pages,
  • Requests for deletion,
  • Nominations for Good Articles
  • Any other group discussions or decision-making forums.

Usage in request for permissions

change

If AI-generated text is used in RfP, RfA, RfB, or similar processes, the request will be rejected. Editors who break this rule repeatedly may face penalties, as this behavior disrupts the community.

Allowed usage

change

Editors may use AI-generated text only on their own user talk pages for personal use. However, it cannot be used in community discussions.

Penalties

change

If AI-generated comments appear on a community forum, they can be removed from the discussion as disruptive.

Article talk pages with only AI-generated comments will be deleted, as they do not help real information.

In case of persistent use of AI in community discussions, the user may be temporarily banned from participating in such discussions or temporarily blocked.
