Eleven is a fictional character from the Netflix horror show Stranger Things. Living in the fictional town of Hawkins in Indiana, she serves as the protector of the town from monsters from an upside down dimension, using her ability to move objects with her mind. Played by British actress Millie Bobby Brown, she has made appearances since the first season in 2016.
Description
changeEleven, in the first season, comes from a laboratory, where she is discovered to have the ability to move objects with her mind. She is adopted by a police chief named Jim Hopper. Her favorite food is Eggos. She is best friends with Max Mayfield. Her love interest is Mike Wheeler. "Friends don't lie" is her catchphrase. After a mall burned down at the end of the third season after she and her friends defeat a monster, she loses her powers from a serious leg injury and moves to California, only to be taken back to the laboratory to regain her powers in the fourth season. With her powers back, she attempts to rescue Max from another monster named Vecna, but Max ends up in a coma after her death from Vecna, but revived by Eleven after defeating Vecna.

changeEleven is telekinetic, meaning that she has the ability to move objects with her mind. She also has mind-reading abilities.
Reception
changeDe Elizabeth of Teen Vogue praised the character for her heroic and brave personality.[1] Additionally, Jesse Schedeen of IGN wrote that Eleven is considered to be one of the most popular characters in the show.[2] Laura Bradley of Vanity Fair says that Brown's performance as Eleven brought her to fame.[3]
