History
changeAkita Prefecture was ruled by some sumurais before it changed Meiji age. But, by the Meiji Restoration, Japan changed from a feudal society to a modern nation, and, in 1871, by the establishment of prefectures in place of fedual domains, there became Akita Prefecture.
