User:ELTted/Classes/Dental Tohoku

Recently, I saw a father and daughter from Rikuzentakata speak in Tokyo. They are working very hard to rebuild their community. They want people from around Japan and around the world to understand what happened there. And, they want to make connections with those people.

Many people are still living in temporary houses.

They noticed many tour buses would bring people in the morning. People would tour the area. Then they would leave. Visitors needed help staying and meeting local people.

The father quit his company job and opened a restaurant so visitors could eat local food instead of bringing a bento. His daughter wants to become a bilingual guide to help international visitors.

I wanted to help. I'm going to visit in March, but we can all help them from anywhere.

Visitors need information before and after they go to Tohoku. So, I thought improving the pages about Tohoku on this Wikipedia would be good practice and very helpful
