He is identical to Takehi-Nateru[1]
Ame-no-Hinadori (Heavenly Sun Bird) is a son of Ame no Hohi. He started the Fire festival of Izumo-taisha.[2] Ame no Hohi is believed to be the ancestor of the Izumo clan.[3]
In the Nihon shoki he is described as descending from heaven with the regalia of the Izumo clan.[2][4]
