Denzel "Duke" Dennis (/duːk ˈdɛnɪs/ (
listen) DOOK-DEN-iss; born February 26, 1994) is an American YouTuber, Twitch streamer, social media personality and AMP member. He is best known for his content centered around the game NBA 2K, and live streams.

Early Life and education
changeDenzel Dennis was born on February 26, 1994, in Greenville, South Carolina.[3] Dennis was raised by his mother and step father[4]: 37:18 named Melvin,[5]: 29:24 along with his two siblings, a brother named Darius, and an older unnamed brother.[6] Dennis attended Travelers Rest High School in South Carolina, where he played varsity football from 2010 to 2012.[7] After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served for four years in Germany. Following his military service, Dennis returned home to pursue content creation full-time.[3]
Career
change2016–2022: Early Beginnings
changeDennis uploaded his first YouTube video on October 29, 2016,[8] and began making videos surrounding the game NBA 2K.[9] In 2019, Dennis co-founded the AMP group with Agent 00, Fanum, and ImDavisss, Kai Cenat joined AMP in 2020, with Chrisnxtdoor being last to join AMP in 2021.[10] He began streaming on Twitch in March 2016.[11]
2023: Initial popularity
changeIn 2023, Dennis went sneaker shopping with Complex,[12] Dennis would later get arrested of a Kai giveaway turned into a Uniot Square Riot.[13] A woman claimed that Dennis got her pregnant but this was proved false.[14] Dennis was nominated for sports in 13th Streamy Awards.[15] Dennis is also credited with popularizing viral internet slang words such as rizz, which is derived from "charisma" and defined as "style, charm, or attractiveness".[16][17]
2024–present: Continued growth
changeDennis had a interview with Complex,[18] Rolling Stone listed Duke Dennis among the "25 Most Influential Creators of 2024," ranking him in the top five.[19]
