Mariam Titilope Olugbodi is my name. I am a researcher, a member of the Wiki-Women Advisory Team, a Steering Committee for the Wiki-Women Task Force formation. I am an open knowledge and Education in Emergencies EiE advocate . My specialty in research is in the field of Linguistics. I am a member of Wikimedia Nigeria Usergroup WMUG and Staff Adviser of Kwara State University Wikimedia Fan Club.
Experience
I have organised, co-organised and facilitated various Wikimedia campaigns, including Wiki Loves SDG Campus Tour, Wiki for Human Rights, Wikivibrance, Wiki Loves Monument, Wiki-in-School Train the Trainers' Programme.
I have track records of collaboration with governmental agencies at the state level towards promoting inclusion and equity. This include indigenous language programmes which aimed at promoting indigenous knowledge production on the Wikipedia.
Academic Profile
I am currently employed by the Kwara State University, Malete, Nigeria. My areas of research interest include: L2 Phonetics an Phonology, Psycholinguistics/ Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics and Stylistics. I have teaching and publication experiences in these areas of study.

I also have experience in manuscript review, having served in the capacity of a reviewer for some journal outlets such as English Today, (Cambridge Journal), Contemporary Journal of African Studies,(CJAS) Ghana, All Nations University Journal of Applied Thought (ANUJAT), and Ghana. Journal of the Linguistic Association of Ghana (JLAG). I have also served as a book reviewer for the African Studies Review. I am an editorial board member of the International Journal of Language and Linguistics.

Educational and Research Profiles
I hold B.A. and M.A. degrees in English Language, with specialisation in Stylistics and Applied Linguistics. My Ph.D. is in L2 Phonetics and Phonology with the specialisation in Nigerian English.
I have experience in conducting survey researches. My Ph.D. work, which centres on the examination of the proficiency level of the Nigerian newscasters across the six geopolitical zones in English Language is a point of reference.
I have experience in conducting interdisciplinary researches. For instance, my Ph.D . thesis adopts a blend of theories and concepts in linguistics; phonology, sociolinguistics, and cognitive linguistics. Also, my study adopts the application of the software for natural language processing, which helps in the acoustic analysis of speeches--Praat software, for the analysis of the data samples collected through the survey method, interview.

I constitute membership of professional bodies such as: African Studies Association (ASA), Lagos Studies Association (ASA), English Scholars Association of Nigeria (ESAN); Literary Society of Nigeria (LSN); Association of Phoneticians and Phonologist of Nigeria (APPN); and African Doctoral Lounge (ADL),

As an open knowledge and Education in Emergency advocate, I constitute membership of the Wikimedia Nigeria Usergroup WNUG and the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergency INEE. I am also a member of the USAID affiliate NGOs-- Higher Education Learning Network HELN and the Global Reading Network GRN; s well as the Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI).
