Unidentified objects from outer space, or U.O.F.O.S. in its strictest definition any apparent moving or static object that has entered the earth’s atmosphere that is not identifiable as a known object or phenomenon. The term is also used to refer to supposed observations of craft of extra-terrestrial origin.
