DYK
Is it okay for one non-biographical (buildings, animals, cities, ect.) hook and the rest are biographical (about people) hooks at the DYK? Should I look for something about animals or cities? --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 21:47, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
- In an ideal world it would be great to have a broad range of hooks from all kinds of subjects, however at the moment I think that might be too much to ask for so it's probably better for now just to try and return to weekly updates with quality hooks rather than hoping for the broad topic range - if that makes sense? - For now, you should not add either of the hooks to the queue. Killer whale must be on the DYK page for a minimum of three days to allow all users to take a look at it, whilst it is considered a potential COI to move your own hooks to a queue, in the case of Reagan and Suárez. Ideally the person who moves them would also not be a reviewer, but I think that might be a bit too much to ask for at the moment, so I'll get to them perhaps in another twenty four hours if there are no further comments. - I send you a message at the same time this one came through, but I'll just re-iterate that I said that - take care when reverting, particularly if using Twinkle or rollback, and less haste. If "vandalism" is place for a minute longer than it would otherwise be that's no big deal, and it also avoids any problems. Remember too to assume good faith - a 'vandalism' Twinkle tag wasn't really appropriate even for mainspace. Goblin 13:51, 31 August 2014 (UTC) I ♥ The Rambling Man!
