DYK nominations

change

Hello! I was wondering, do the DYK queues have to be lined in a specific pattern? (for example: Nonliving, living, Nonliving, or living, nonliving, living) ⯎ Asteralee ⯎ 13:40, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Asteralee:! I was taught a long time ago when filling out the queues that the hooks listed should be diverse and somewhat equal numbered (queue 1: nonliving, living, nonliving, living, etc. and then queue 2 would be the reverse: living, nonliving, living, nonliving, etc.) Nonliving could mean anything that isn't human/animal related and conversely living could mean anything about a living/deceased thing like humans, animals, etc. :) TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 14:00, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

I would like to ask...

change

On December 5th, you created an article about Evgeny Velikhov, an outstanding scientist who supposedly ended up in Turkey in the last days of his life to oversee the construction of a nuclear power plant. The Russian government now denies that he died in Turkey, claiming that he died in Moscow, and promotes this narrative in the Russian media. Is it true that on December 5 it was written in TASS that Melikhov died in Turkey? UnWikipedian (talk) 18:56, 7 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Infobox imports

change

Hey TDKR! I hope you're doing well. I just thought I'd let you know, when you import infoboxes from enwiki, they can sometimes have signatures - or other files - that don't exist on our wiki, like on Kemi Badenoch. Such additions get collected in Category:Articles with broken file links, so can be cleaned up and dealt with extremely easily, however it'd be best if you try and remember to remove those when importing infoboxes. I hope you have a great Christmas and New Year, thanks :D --Ferien (talk) 22:33, 19 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
