changeWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to the encyclopedia. However, please do not attack other editors. If you disagree with changes, please talk about the changes and not the editors who made them. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about changing Wikipedia. Thank you. rollingbarrels (talk) 17:02, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
With regard to your comments on User talk:86.190.193.128: Please see "Wikipedia:No personal attacks". Talk about changes editors have made, not the editors. Personal attacks damage the community and scare away users. Please note that more personal attacks will lead to you being blocked for disruption. Thank you. - But he has damage the comunity. We need to punish him DarkDan123 (talk) 16:52, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- @DarkDan123: I can empathize with you that I have almost zero respect for anyone who actively vandalizes. However, on Wikipedia, we use blocks to prevent bad edits, not to punish those who made it. See our blocking policy for more information. Computer Fizz (talk) 16:55, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- (change conflict) Blocks are preventative, not punitive. In addition, we must be kind to other users, such languages aren't acceptable.--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 16:56, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, I understand, but I still have zero tolerance with people who vandalise. DarkDan123 (talk) 16:58, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- You can have zero tolerance using the messages that have already been created for you. You can start out with this one, then if they continue vandalizing, use this one, then this one, and if they continue vandalizing after all those messages you can report them here, and an admin will look at it and block them if it was valid vandalism. But please don't go after people with personal attacks like "serves you right". Computer Fizz (talk) 17:01, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
