Mainly, a computer system designed to both summarize and simplify text. It comes from this research project, and as part of the research evaluation we plan to create a very small number of new pages using the system, then measure how many changes we need to make to the pages to bring them to an acceptable quality. The “bot” part of the name is to give a warning that the initial quality might not be that good. However, our system does not have automatic access to Wikipedia, so all entries will go through a human. Hope this is acceptable. --- Edinbot (talk) 13:00, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
